The vocabulary is at COLLEGE level, and the definitions are too -- very refreshing. I dont know of another app that does anything like this: Others are either too simple, which is not fun if you want to be challenged; or have an unabridged dictionary, which has many "words" that no one ever uses.
Please join if you like to learn words -- so we can challenge each other. The game allows individual and general "challenges" where "coins" are bet on the outcome. This could be very nice if others come aboard and play.
DEVELOPER IS VERY RESPONSIVE, Ive exchanged several emails. I am quite of a quick fix to the "hard-to-read-outside-the-bubble" text -- meanwhile, just take this as an extra feature, for some definitions, youll need to eliminate the wrong answers, to find the correct bubble. Enjoy!
This a great app to learn new vocabulary and/or improve reading times, no cons so far.
Some bad moments
You cannot change the time per game, which is very short. You cannot stop the bubbles from floating all over the place, which often get in the way of reading the description. Many of the words in the bubbles do not fit in the bubbles, again making them hard to read. These are college level words--so why not make the interface more mature e.g. answers selectable by A,B,C,D options rather than all these floating bubbles. I was very disappointed.
It is a very good and fun game but the app is getting crashed once the game completes. Its a useful way to spend time with this. Hope the bugs will get fixed soon
Some of the bubbles move in to areas of the screen so you cant even read the word on them. Maybe thats part of the fun but I didnt enjoy it and wish I would have tried the free version first.
The words float over bright areas of the screen causing obscure invisible words... Also you cant choose to have no time limit so its less sedulous. Please update with an option to stop the clock!!! PLEASE!!!
